What we should do with Sex offenders?

I think we should lock them up and throw away the key. We can not let them back on the streets, because most of them do not change after being locked up for the first time offense. They are sick minded people, what kind of person would touch a child. I think life in prison on the first offense is the right approach to solving the problem across America.
